Information checked on 2 November 2026.
The Comoros are among the countries in the Campus France "Études en France" procedure: for a study stay of more than three months in France, going through the platform and the Moroni office is compulsory, before any visa application. For first-year bachelor's, the prior admission request (DAP) closes on 15 December 2026, the national date for the 2027 intake. As of 2 November 2026, however, Campus France Comoros has published no 2027 calendar, no procedure fee and no opening hours. This guide does not fill these gaps with guesses: it states what official sources say, then what you can do right now. For the general logic of the platform, see our complete guide to Campus France.

| Architecture school application | Yellow DAP |
| Second or third-year bachelor's, master's, business, engineering or art school, IUT, DEUST, CUPGE | Non-DAP procedure |

The Evalang test
Campus France Comoros offers the Evalang test, an international test taken on a digital platform on its premises, for 9,600 KMF. The office addresses it to all Études en France candidates. Its page does not give session dates: ask the office now, so the result is ready before your file closes. Other tests accepted by institutions are covered in our article on the Campus France French test.

The academic opinion and the visa
In the Comoros, the visa goes through an academic opinion from the office:
- first or second year: after the academic interview and a favourable answer from the university, you return to the office with that answer;
- from third year onwards: you book an interview with the office before the visa application.
The office issues an academic opinion, reviewed by the embassy's cooperation and cultural action service, which then forwards it to the consular service. The opinion assesses the relevance of the project: coherence between your past studies and the level applied for, and fit between your career plan and the needs of the Comoros, including your ability to find work on return.
The visa application is made on France-Visas and the visa is issued by the consular section of the French embassy in the Comoros. Enrolment at an institution does not guarantee the visa: you must show housing near the institution and sufficient funds. The amount required is €877.50 per month, according to service-public.fr. Our guide to proving your funds lists accepted evidence, and the one on the student visa application the whole file.
