Can the other person see my real address?
No. They receive and reply to your Compatri address. Neither the headers nor the body leak your personal email, in either direction.
Is it a separate mailbox to check?
No. It isn't a webmail: everything lands in the inbox you already use. Compatri relays, it doesn't host.
What if an alias gets too much spam?
You delete it. Being an alias, your main inbox is untouched, and the spammer loses the only entry point it knew.
