Information checked on 6 October 2026.
Campus France Morocco opened the campaign for the 2027 intake on 1 October 2026 and will close it on 15 November 2026 at 11.59 pm, Moroccan time, for every programme connected to the Études en France platform (the online platform run by Campus France, the French public agency for international students). That is a month before the national date of 15 December, and three weeks earlier than last year for master's programmes. This guide walks through the whole Moroccan journey: who must go through Campus France, where the offices are, which French test to submit, how much to pay, how the interview works, when answers arrive, then the visa at TLScontact and your arrival. Each step links to a more detailed article.
Campus France Morocco: who does it concern?
According to Campus France Morocco, the « Je suis candidat » (I am applying) procedure is for non-European students living in Morocco, from the Moroccan school system (international baccalaureate included) or from a foreign system. Three clarifications often change everything:
- Mon Master (the national master's platform) does not concern you if you live in Morocco: Campus France Morocco states it plainly, that platform targets countries without the Études en France procedure.
- BTS and preparatory classes are applied for on Parcoursup (France's national admissions platform); in 2026, choices were open there from 19 January to 12 March. Non-connected schools recruit directly. In those cases, once admitted, you only complete the « Je suis accepté » (I have been accepted) procedure for the visa.
- The first year of a licence (bachelor's) and PASS/L.AS (the entry routes into medicine) must go through Campus France, even at a non-connected university.
If you are torn between the platform and applying directly to a school, our comparison Campus France or direct application helps you decide.

Email remains the best channel (campusfrance@ifmaroc.com); the phone line, 05 37 21 08 00, is kept for emergencies. The inbox of your Études en France account is not for questions: nobody answers there.
Before applying, you can book a free 45-minute guidance session, in person at the five offices or by video call. It is not an assessment: come with your questions.
The Études en France procedure step by step
The Campus France Morocco website sets out seven steps. Here they are in order, with what matters in Morocco.
Files are processed in order of submission and payment: a file submitted on 10 October goes ahead of one from 14 November. Beware of private agencies offering to « build » your file: Campus France Morocco points out that no intermediary is accredited and that such files are easy to spot.
Campus France Morocco 2027 dates: what has been published
| Date | Step |
|---|---|
| 1 October 2026 | Platform opens |
| 15 November 2026, 11.59 pm | Closing for all connected programmes, DAP and non-DAP |
| Within 15 days of the invitation | Application interview |
| By 30 April 2027 at the latest | Institutions' answers |
| 31 May 2027 | Deadline for your final choice |
The change from the previous cycle deserves attention: for the 2026 intake, Campus France Morocco closed the DAP on 16 November 2025 but left non-DAP open until 7 December 2025. This year, one date applies to everyone. The month-by-month detail is in our Campus France Morocco 2027 calendar.
White DAP, yellow DAP and non-DAP in Morocco
Campus France Morocco sorts connected programmes as follows:
- white DAP (demande d'admission préalable, the prior admission request): first year of a university licence, or PASS/L.AS (medicine, midwifery, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy);
- yellow DAP: École nationale supérieure d'architecture, from first year to master's;
- first-year BUT via the ADIUT Maroc programme, which has its own answer calendar;
- connected universities: L2, L3, professional licence, M1 and M2, plus the bridge into second-year BUT GIM;
- Polytech, with a double procedure (Polytech and Campus France);
- some connected engineering and business schools, to check with each one.
In Morocco, the distinction matters less for the date, now shared, than for the number of choices and the type of file. For the national logic, read DAP, non-DAP or Parcoursup: which procedure.
The French test required by Campus France Morocco
Unless you are exempt, a French certificate must be in your file when you submit it: TCF tout public (TCF TP, the general French test), DELF B2 or DALF C1/C2. Good news for latecomers: the payment receipt or the exam notice is accepted. Check that your session appears in the certification calendar published by Campus France Morocco.
| Certificate | Price in Morocco | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| TCF TP | 1,900 dirhams | Valid 2 years, at submission; at least 20 days between two sessions |
| DELF B2 | 1,200 dirhams (960 at the reduced rate) | Diploma valid for life |
| DALF C1 or C2 | 1,700 dirhams (1,360 at the reduced rate) | Required by some programmes |
Campus France Morocco recommends a TCF score of at least 400 points, a DELF B2 or a DALF, and considers a score below 350 insufficient to study in good conditions. Results take about 15 days for a computer-based TCF and four weeks for a paper one. Programmes taught entirely in English, except L1, may waive the certificate if the institution does not require it. An online placement test, for 50 dirhams, lets you measure your level before registering. The full comparison of tests is in our article on the Campus France French test.
Campus France Morocco fees
The application fee is 1,900 dirhams. There are two ways to pay, according to Campus France Morocco's 2026-2027 leaflet:
You pay once per account between October 2026 and September 2027, even if you later open a « Je suis accepté » file. The electronic receipt arrives in about five working days; there is no need to wait for it to submit. The fee is never refunded, whether you withdraw or are refused admission or a visa. The overall budget, tuition and CVEC (student life contribution) included, is in our article on Campus France fees. To lighten the bill, also look at the scholarships for students from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
The Campus France interview in Morocco
Once your file is complete and validated, Campus France sends you a message so you can schedule the interview yourself. It must take place within 15 days of that message, and slots open gradually: log in often. You choose the location among the five offices, or the digital branches of Agadir and Oujda, where the interview takes place by video call from the Institut français.
Bring the original of your ID, the originals of every document scanned into the file (the national bac transcript is enough if you do not have the diploma yet), the foreign-language originals if you supplied translations, and the printed notice. Without originals, the file stays blocked. The interview is there to defend your project and authenticate your documents; it leads to an advisory opinion, and only institutions decide. Recurring questions are gathered in Campus France interview questions in the Maghreb.
Answers, final choice and refusal
Institutions answer as they go, by 30 April 2027 at the latest. There is no ranking: each choice gets its own answer. You then have until 31 May 2027 to make your final choice, unless the institution sets an earlier date. Once you are authorised to book a TLScontact appointment, you can no longer change it.
No admission? All is not lost: direct applications to non-connected schools, another country, a new attempt next year. The options are set out in Campus France refusal: what to do. Many Moroccan students also look at Belgium, whose procedure does not go through Campus France: see studying in Belgium as a student from the Maghreb.
After admission: visa, housing, arrival
The visa comes in three stages. First, the « Je suis accepté » pre-consular procedure on Études en France, no earlier than four months before your arrival and preferably at least a month before departure, passport in hand; Campus France Morocco announces 15 to 20 days of processing. Next, the finalisation message authorises you to book an appointment at TLScontact, the consulate's service provider, after completing the form on France-Visas (the official French visa website). Finally, you file your application at one of the country's TLScontact centres, where your fingerprints are also taken. All documents, fees and timelines are in our guide to the French student visa from Morocco.
On money, the consulate requires proof of at least 877.50 euros per month for applications filed since 1 August 2026. On housing, a hotel booking with an explanatory letter is enough for the visa file, but you will need a lasting roof on arrival: our tips for finding student housing from abroad help you avoid the most common scams. Once in France, you will have three months to validate your visa online.
Arriving with a network of compatriots
The file is individual, but arrival is easier to prepare with those who have been through it. On Compatri, the Moroccan community of your future city brings together settled students and families: you can join it now, even before universities answer, from the Moroccan diaspora in France page. The group « Étudiants africains » (African students) also gathers, from one city to another, students who talk about grants, housing and mutual help between campuses.
Compatri is not a service of Campus France or of the French State, and does not replace the official source: only the information from Campus France Morocco and the consulate binds you.
