The Campus France campaign for the September 2027 intake opens on 1 October 2026. Between that date and the day you put down your bags, there are about ten deadlines, and missing one is enough to lose a year: a Licence 1 (first-year bachelor's) application submitted on 16 December is not examined. This calendar gathers the dates already published by the Campus France offices, clearly separates what is confirmed from what is still to be confirmed, and gives you a month-by-month plan if you start now. For the full picture of the procedure, from application to arrival, start with our complete Campus France guide.
One precaution first: the « Études en France » procedure (the online platform run by Campus France, the French public agency for international students) covers just over 70 countries and territories, and each Campus France office publishes its own calendar. The national DAP dates (submission, answers, final choice) are shared; everything else varies. The Campus France website of your country of residence remains the only reference that binds you.
Confirmed dates of the 2027-2028 campaign
These dates appear on the official calendars already published for the 2027-2028 academic year, including those of Campus France Togo and Campus France Ghana. Campus France Algeria, for its part, confirms the opening on 1 October 2026.
| Date | Step | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 1 October 2026 | Études en France platform opens | Confirmed |
| 15 December 2026 | DAP deadline: Licence 1 and architecture schools | Confirmed |
| 30 April 2027 | Deadline for institutions' answers (DAP) | Confirmed |
| 31 May 2027 | Deadline for your final choice (DAP) | Confirmed |
| Late 2026 to early 2027 | Non-DAP deadline | Varies by country |
| Until mid-March 2027 | Campus France interview | Varies by country |
| Early 2027 | Parcoursup and Mon Master choices | To be confirmed |
15 December is a national date, written into the official notices for the demande d'admission préalable (DAP, the prior admission request). Watch the time too: Campus France Ghana, for example, announces a 6 pm closing. Never aim for the last day, as the platform and online payments get overloaded.
DAP calendar: Licence 1 and architecture schools
The DAP applies to a first enrolment in the first year of a licence (bachelor's), health tracks included, and in a national school of architecture. If you are not sure whether your plan falls under it, first read DAP, non-DAP or Parcoursup: which procedure.
| Date | What must be done |
|---|---|
| From 1 October 2026 | Create your file, choose up to 3 programmes |
| Before 15 December 2026 | Submit the file and pay the procedure fee |
| Before 15 December 2026 | Prove an exemption from the French test, if applicable |
| January to mid-February 2027 | Take the TCF if you are not exempt |
| Until 15 March 2027 (Togo) | Attend the Campus France interview |
| By 30 April 2027 at the latest | Receive the universities' offers |
| By 31 May 2027 at the latest | Accept an offer |
Two points to watch. First, the French test: in the previous cycle, the ministry's notices required the TCF (Test de connaissance du français) to be taken by 13 February 2026 at the latest, so that results arrived before the selection committees. The 2027 date has not been published yet, but the rhythm should stay close; our article on the Campus France French test explains who is exempt. Then, your answer: according to the official notice for the 2026-2027 cycle, no answer by 1 June counts as a refusal of the offer. Silence cannot be undone.
Non-DAP deadline: L2, L3, master's, schools
Everything that is not a first year of licence or architecture falls under « hors DAP » (non-DAP): Licence 2 and 3, professional licence, master's, BUT (technology bachelor's), engineering and business schools connected to the platform. Here there is no single national date: each Campus France office sets its own, and the gaps are measured in weeks.
| Country | Non-DAP deadline 2027-2028 | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Togo | 31 December 2026 | Confirmed (official calendar) |
| Ghana | 8 January 2027, midnight | Confirmed (official website) |
| Morocco | 15 November 2026, all connected programmes | Announced by Campus France Morocco |
| Algeria | Not yet published | To be confirmed |
Morocco shows why you must read your own calendar: Campus France Morocco announces a submission window from 1 October to 15 November 2026 for all connected programmes, DAP included, a month before the national date. In Algeria, Campus France had not yet published its deadlines at the time of writing; the Algerian press mentions 30 November for non-DAP, as last year, but only the official page counts.
Non-DAP answers can also follow a different rhythm. In Cameroon, during the 2026-2027 cycle, institutions had until 15 May to answer non-DAP applications and candidates until 30 June to accept, compared with 30 April and 31 May for the DAP. The number of choices varies too: Campus France Ghana allows up to 7 programmes for non-DAP, against 3 for the DAP.
Parcoursup, Mon Master and non-connected programmes
Some applications do not go through the Études en France platform at first, but come back to it for the visa stage.
- Parcoursup (the national admissions platform for first-year higher education) mainly concerns holders or future holders of a French or European baccalauréat, including in French lycées abroad. The calendars of Campus France Togo and Senegal also send applicants for BTS, BTSA, DCG, preparatory classes and IFSI there. For reference, the 2026 campaign opened on 17 December 2025, with choices from 19 January to 12 March 2026. The 2027 dates are to be confirmed on the Parcoursup website.
- Mon Master (the national master's platform) takes international applicants who live in France or in a country without the Études en France procedure. In 2026, applications were open there from 17 February to 16 March.
- Non-connected programmes, private institutions in particular, are applied to directly with the school. Once accepted, you return to Études en France, section « Je suis accepté » (I have been accepted). Campus France Togo sets this window between 15 May and 31 August 2027.
The 2026-2027 cycle as a reference, country by country
The cycle that has just ended shows how a campaign really unfolds. The national DAP dates were: opening on 1 October 2025, submission until 15 December 2025, universities' answers by 30 April 2026 at the latest, candidate's choice until 31 May 2026. Around that base, each country set its own milestones.
| Country | Specific feature of the 2026-2027 cycle |
|---|---|
| Algeria | Non-DAP closed on 30 November 2025, interview until 15 March 2026, 20,000 DZD fee payable within 48 hours |
| Cameroon | DAP payment before 28 November 2025, non-DAP until 27 February 2026 |
| Senegal | Connected programmes until 15 December 2025, payment until 27 December 2025 |
Algeria illustrates these gaps well: it publishes a separate calendar, with a non-DAP deadline earlier than the DAP one, and asks for the visa application to be filed at least two months before classes start. Campus France Lebanon sums it up bluntly: « Il est de la responsabilité du candidat de respecter les dates d'inscription. Aucun dossier en retard ne sera accepté. » (it is the candidate's responsibility to respect the dates; no late file will be accepted).
What to do month by month if you start in September 2026
You are early, and that is exactly the right time. Here is a realistic plan, to adjust to your country's dates.
Not missing a date, with those preparing the same intake
A calendar is easier to keep with others. Those preparing the same intake as you ask the same questions at the same time: does the platform accept this document, have interviews started, have answers arrived? On Compatri, the group « Étudiants africains » (African students) brings together, beyond a single city, students who exchange on grants, diploma equivalences, student housing and mutual aid between campuses. And the community of your country in your future city, which you can join even before you have your visa, connects you with those already studying there: find it from the diaspora page, then read how to join your community before you leave.
Compatri is not a Campus France service and does not replace its calendar: the dates that bind you remain those of your Campus France office.

Frequently asked questions
When does Campus France open for the 2027 intake?
The Études en France platform opens on 1 October 2026 for the September 2027 intake, a date confirmed by Campus France Algeria, Togo and Ghana among others. You can create your file from that day on the Campus France website of your country of residence. One file per applicant: if you already have one from a previous campaign, do not duplicate it.
What is the DAP deadline for the 2027 intake?
15 December 2026, for a first year of licence or architecture school. It is a national date, but the closing time and payment deadlines depend on your country, and some Campus France offices set an earlier internal date, such as Morocco on 15 November 2026. Check your country's official page and do not wait for the last day.
What is the Campus France non-DAP deadline?
There is no national date: each Campus France office sets its own. For the 2027 intake, it is 31 December 2026 in Togo and 8 January 2027 in Ghana, while Morocco closes as early as 15 November 2026. Check the calendar published on the Campus France website of your country of residence.
When do you get Campus France answers?
For the DAP, universities answer by 30 April 2027 at the latest and you have until 31 May 2027 to accept an offer; without an answer from you, the offer is considered refused. For non-DAP, institutions can follow a different rhythm: in Cameroon, during the 2026-2027 cycle, they had until 15 May. Answers often arrive gradually, not all on the same day.
Is it too late to start Campus France in September?
For the September 2027 intake, no: starting in September 2026 means being a few weeks ahead of the 1 October opening. It is the right time to choose your programmes, start translations and look into the French test. For a start as early as September 2026, however, the campaign for programmes connected to Études en France is closed.
