Studying in FranceCampus France Cameroon 2027 calendar: every date, from payment at TLScontact to your final choice
In Cameroon, the 2027 campaign hinges on three dates: payment at TLScontact from 5 October 2026, first-year bachelor's before 15 December, non-DAP before 1 February 2027. Official dates, changes from last year and a month-by-month plan.

The Campus France Cameroon 2027 calendar comes down to three dates. On 5 October 2026, the window for paying the fee at TLScontact opens. On 15 December 2026, files for the first year of a licence (bachelor's) and for architecture schools must be submitted. On 1 February 2027, it is non-DAP's turn: second and third-year bachelor's, BUT (technology bachelor's), master's, engineering degree. In Cameroon, payment comes before submission, so a submission date has to be prepared weeks in advance. This article gathers the dates published by Campus France Cameroon (the Cameroonian branch of the French public agency for international students) for the September 2027 intake, what changes from last year, a month-by-month plan from October and the visa calendar. For the full procedure, see our Campus France Cameroon guide.
A word on vocabulary avoids confusion: Campus France Cameroon calls this campaign « 2027-2028 », after the academic year it prepares. It opened on 1 October 2026 and does target the September 2027 intake.

One detail on the official page may confuse you: the heading of the non-DAP block still reads « 01 octobre 2025 au 01 mars 2026 », a leftover from last year, whereas every date in the table does refer to 2026-2027. Trust the dated lines, and if in doubt, ask through your file's inbox.
Why pay early: the order of steps in Cameroon
In most countries you submit, then pay. In Cameroon, Campus France checks first, has you pay next, checks your originals, and only then asks you to submit. Here is the chain, as the seven-step procedure describes it:
Each link takes time, and a file sent back for correction goes round the loop again. An L1 applicant who requests a payment appointment in early December risks seeing 15 December pass before the completeness notice. For the DAP, aim to pay in October or November; for non-DAP, before the end of December.
What changes from the 2026-2027 cycle
The previous cycle's page is no longer online; the benchmarks below are those we recorded at the time, cited in our Campus France 2027-2028 calendar, which compares countries.
| Benchmark | Cycle for the 2026 intake | Cycle for the 2027 intake |
|---|---|---|
| DAP payment | Before 28 November 2025 | 5 October 2026 to 16 February 2027, but submission before 15 December |
| Non-DAP | Until 27 February 2026 | Submission before 1 February 2027 |
| Non-DAP answers | Until 15 May 2026 | Until 30 April 2027 |
| Non-DAP acceptance | Until 30 June 2026 | Before 31 May 2027 |
Two consequences. First, master's or L3 applicants lose about four weeks compared with last year: anyone counting on « end of February » would be too late. Second, non-DAP now follows the national DAP dates for answers and final choice, which makes the summer simpler.
The French test in the calendar
Only current or future GCE A-level holders aiming for a first year at university must take the TCF-DAP without the speaking section (TCF: test de connaissance du français), run by the Institut français du Cameroun in Yaoundé and Douala. Session dates and the price do not appear on the public pages we consulted: ask from October. In the previous cycle, the ministerial notices required the TCF to be taken by 13 February 2026, so results would arrive before the committees met; the 2027 date is still to be confirmed.
Another lead time to plan for if you come from the anglophone system: your academic documents must be translated at the Ministry of Higher Education in Yaoundé or at the Centre linguistique de Bonanjo in Douala. Start those translations before you even request the payment appointment. The rules on tests and exemptions are in our article on the Campus France French test.

Four calendar mistakes to avoid
After 31 May: the visa calendar
Three official rules frame the summer:
- your TLScontact appointment is assigned by Campus France, one per student; if you were admitted outside the platform, the pre-consular procedure is processed within 15 working days at most after the interview, and you have 72 hours to complete the requested information once the appointment is notified;
- France-Visas (the official French visa website) asks you to allow one month between submitting a long-stay application and your departure date;
- the embassy points out that an application can be submitted up to six months before departure, and that timeframes lengthen depending on the period.
An applicant admitted in April who confirms in early May and gathers documents in May can submit in June or July with room to spare. Someone who confirms on 31 May without a valid passport is cutting it fine.
Following the calendar with those living it
The official dates say when; those who went through the campaign last year know how long it took to get a payment appointment in Douala or an interview slot in Yaoundé. On Compatri, the Cameroonian community of the city where you plan to study brings together these already-settled students: find it from the page Cameroonians in France and join before you leave. The « Étudiants africains » (African students) group also gathers students from several cities who are following the same campaign as you.
Compatri is not a service of Campus France or the state, and does not replace its calendar: only the dates published by Campus France Cameroon are binding on you.

Frequently asked questions
When do you pay the Campus France Cameroon fee in 2027?
The payment window at TLScontact runs from 5 October 2026 to 16 February 2027, after you receive a payment authorisation from Campus France. Payment comes before submission: for L1, whose deadline is 15 December 2026, aim for October or November. The fee is 85,000 FCFA, plus 16,000 FCFA in TLScontact fees online.
What is the Campus France Cameroon 2027 non-DAP deadline?
The non-DAP file (L2, L3, professional licence, BUT, master's, engineering degree, mastère spécialisé) must be submitted before 1 February 2027. In the previous cycle, non-DAP stayed open until 27 February 2026: the margin has shrunk by about four weeks.
Until when can you take the Campus France interview in Cameroon?
Academic interviews run from 12 October 2026 to 1 March 2027. Only files declared complete and then submitted are scheduled: a complete file you are slow to submit does not get a slot.
When do Campus France 2027 answers arrive in Cameroon?
Institutions answer until 30 April 2027, for both DAP and non-DAP, and the final choice must be made before 31 May 2027. Last year, non-DAP followed a later calendar, with answers until 15 May and acceptance until 30 June.
When should you apply for the French student visa from Cameroon?
After your final choice, Campus France assigns you a TLScontact appointment. France-Visas asks you to allow at least one month between submission and departure, and an application can be submitted up to six months before departure. In practice, aim to submit in June or July for a September start.
