The Campus France Côte d'Ivoire calendar 2027 does not officially exist yet. The Études en France platform (the online platform of Campus France, the French public agency for international students) reopened on 1 October 2026 for the September 2027 intake, but as of 6 October the Campus France Côte d'Ivoire website still shows the calendar of the previous campaign. Should you wait? No. The national dates are known, last year's give a reliable order of magnitude, and the work of the first weeks depends on no date at all. This article separates what is certain from what is still to be confirmed, then offers a month-by-month plan. For the full procedure, from account to visa, see our Campus France Côte d'Ivoire guide.

A word on naming first: Campus France Côte d'Ivoire names its campaigns after calendar years. The one that started on 1 October 2025 was called « 2025-2026 » and prepared the September 2026 intake. The one that has just opened therefore prepares September 2027.

Campus France Côte d'Ivoire calendar 2027: what is confirmed

Read 15 December as a ceiling, not a target. Each office can set an earlier date, and the Ivorian office did so last year. The overview for all countries is in our Campus France calendar 2027-2028.

Last year's calendar, to keep as a benchmark

Here is the official calendar published by Campus France Côte d'Ivoire for the 2026 intake. Nothing guarantees the 2027 dates will be identical, but the gap from one year to the next is usually counted in days.

Two lessons. Licence 1 closed on 6 December 2025, nine days before the national date. And non-DAP stayed open until 22 January 2026, a month and a half longer. If the 2027 dates follow the same pattern, a master's candidate has more time than a school-leaver, but a school-leaver aiming for « mid-December » would be too late. The difference between the two routes is explained in DAP or non-DAP.

The national dates that frame everything

Three dates do not depend on the Ivorian office, because they appear in the national notice of the demande d'admission préalable (DAP, the prior admission request):

115 December 2026: deadline for DAP files, licence 1 and architecture; the French-test exemption must also be proven by this date.
230 April 2027: deadline for universities' answers.
331 May 2027: deadline for your choice; according to the previous cycle's notice, no answer by 1 June counts as refusing the offer.

Good news for Ivorian candidates: the notice exempts from the TCF (Test de connaissance du français) nationals of countries where French is the sole official language, Côte d'Ivoire included. No test session therefore slots into your calendar, unless you hold another nationality without exemption. The rules are in our article on the French test for Campus France.

Month-by-month plan from October 2026

Reading this in October? Here is the realistic order, assuming dates close to last year's.

1October 2026: create your Études en France account, book a free guidance appointment (campusfrance@institutfrancais.ci) and start gathering documents. If your baccalauréat certificate (the « collante ») is laminated or lost, request a duplicate from the DECO, the Ivorian examinations office, right now; at university, ask the central registry for your transcripts, the only ones accepted.
2November 2026: choose your programmes, write your four-to-five-line letters, and watch for the calendar on the official site. Licence 1 candidate: submit and pay the 80,000 FCFA at Société Générale before mid-November, a month before the national date.
3December 2026: likely closing of licence 1, to be confirmed. Respond fast to corrections: after two ignored corrections, the file is not validated. Non-DAP candidate: aim to submit before the holidays.
4January 2027: likely closing of non-DAP, to be confirmed. Book the interview as soon as the platform allows it.
5February to early March 2027: academic interviews, with the invitation, an ID and all originals. No absence or postponement is accepted. Prepare with our article on the Campus France interview.
6March and April 2027: answers arrive one by one, until 30 April; our guide to Campus France answers explains each status. Start gathering proof of funds: 877.50 euros a month for the visa.
7May 2027: final choice before 31 May. Contact the institution about enrolment and the start date.
8June 2027: France-Visas form, then an appointment at VFS Global; the official calendar advises booking from June. The details are in our guide to the French student visa from Côte d'Ivoire.
9July and August 2027: consulate decision, housing, pre-departure day run by Campus France Côte d'Ivoire.
10September 2027: arrival at least fifteen days before the start of term, then online validation of the visa within three months, as explained in validating your VLS-TS.

Four calendar mistakes to avoid

1Aiming for 15 December for licence 1: last year the Ivorian office closed on the 6th.
2Paying on the last day: you pay at a Société Générale counter, during branch opening hours, not online at midnight.
3Ignoring corrections: a file returned twice and not corrected never qualifies for the interview.
4Waiting until 31 May to confirm: every week lost in May is missing in June, just when visa appointments fill up.

After 31 May: the visa calendar

Three official benchmarks frame the summer:

  • VFS Global states an indicative processing time of 15 days for Ivorian nationals once the file is submitted;
  • the French embassy points out that you can apply up to six months before departure, and that timelines lengthen depending on the time of year;
  • Campus France Côte d'Ivoire advises arriving at least fifteen days before the start of term for enrolment, insurance, banking and social security.

A candidate who confirms in early May, files the visa in mid-June and receives it in early July keeps a comfortable margin. One who waits until late July to book an appointment is cutting it fine.

Following the calendar with those living it

Official dates tell you when; students from the previous campaign tell you how long it took to get an interview in Abidjan or a slot at VFS Global. On Compatri, the Ivorian community of the city where you aim to study brings these students together: find it from the page Ivorian diaspora in France and join before you leave. The « Étudiants africains » (African students) group also links, from city to city, those preparing the same intake.

Compatri is not a service of Campus France or of the state, and does not replace its calendar: only the dates published by Campus France Côte d'Ivoire are binding.

Frequently asked questions

When does Campus France Côte d'Ivoire open for the 2027 intake?

The Études en France platform opened on 1 October 2026 for the September 2027 intake. You can therefore create your account and fill in your file right now, even though Campus France Côte d'Ivoire has not yet published the campaign deadlines.

What is the Campus France Côte d'Ivoire 2027 deadline for licence 1?

It is still to be confirmed. The national DAP date, 15 December 2026, sets the outer limit, but last year the Ivorian office closed licence 1 on 6 December 2025. Aim to submit and pay before mid-November 2026.

Until when can you apply for a master's through Campus France Côte d'Ivoire?

For the 2027 intake, the date is still to be confirmed. In the previous cycle, the non-DAP deadline (L2, L3, professional licence, BUT, M1 and M2) fell on 22 January 2026, with interviews before 6 March. Watch the official site and submit at least a month before the announced date.

When do Campus France answers arrive in Côte d'Ivoire?

Institutions answer on a rolling basis, by 30 April 2027 at the latest for the DAP. You must then confirm your final choice before 31 May 2027 in your Études en France account. Without an answer from you, the offer is lost.

When should you apply for the student visa after Campus France Côte d'Ivoire?

As soon as your final choice is confirmed and, if you are in your final school year, your baccalauréat is obtained. The official calendar advises booking with VFS Global from June. VFS Global states an indicative processing time of 15 days for Ivorian nationals.
