The Campus France Senegal 2027 calendar rests on two close dates: 15 December 2026, the last day to submit an application for a connected programme, and 19 December 2026, the last day to pay the 85,000 CFA franc fee. Campus France Senegal published this calendar on 1 October 2026 for the September 2027 intake. A word on vocabulary: Campus France Senegal speaks of the "Études en France 2027 campaign" (Études en France being the online platform of Campus France, the French agency for international students) and of the "2027-2028 intake". Both mean the same thing: the academic year starting in September 2027.

Three points deserve attention. First, payment never comes before submission: Campus France Senegal sends a payment request after processing your file, and you must pay nothing before. Second, the interview is not automatic: some complete files lead to no interview at all. Finally, there is no single answer date in Senegal: each institution follows its own calendar.
Non-connected programmes: a second calendar
BTS, BTSA, DCG, CPGE and IFSI (vocational diplomas, preparatory classes, accounting and nursing) go through Parcoursup, the national first-year admissions platform; non-connected private schools recruit directly. Once admitted, you return to Études en France for the "Je suis accepté" (I have been accepted) procedure, with this calendar:

That last point often surprises: it is up to you to ask your school to send Campus France the confirmation of your enrolment. Do it as soon as you are admitted, without waiting for July.
What changes compared with last year's calendar
For the 2026 intake, Campus France Senegal closed connected programmes on 15 December 2025 and accepted payments until 27 December 2025.

The closing date does not move, but the payment window shrinks: four days after closing instead of twelve. Yet the payment request only arrives once the file has been processed. An applicant who submits on 15 December risks receiving the request too late to pay on time, especially as files are processed in order of submission. France-Senegal scholarships are for students of Senegalese nationality at master's level, in all disciplines, plus research stays of up to four months for doctoral students and lecturer-researchers.
Four calendar mistakes to avoid
After 31 May: the visa calendar
The student visa campaign runs from 15 May to 27 August 2027. The starting point remains the Campus France end-of-procedure e-mail. After that, according to VFS Global, the consulate's provider in Dakar, students in the Campus France procedure do not book a slot: VFS assigns them an appointment by e-mail. The French Embassy points out that a visa application can be filed up to six months before departure and that waiting times grow depending on the time of year.
An applicant who confirms their choice in early May and finishes additional documents in June can file as soon as the campaign opens. One who waits until 30 July to send originals ends up in August, at peak demand, with a departure in late August or September.
