Chad diaspora around the world

According to the United Nations, 287,000 people from Chad live abroad.

However, the figure counts migrants, not their children born abroad. The real diaspora is therefore larger.

179,000 people from Chad live in Sudan, 33,500 Nigeria, and 30,900 Cameroon.

Together, these three countries therefore account for about 85% of the diaspora.

Each country has its own page, with the cities, communities and meetups there.

By continent, the diaspora counts 281,000 people in Africa and 6,520 Asia.

For each continent, a page also gathers the countries and cities where it lives.

You can also host your own meetup: a meal, an outing or a party. It then appears to members of your city, and you follow sign-ups from your account.

Your exact location never appears: other members only see an approximate area. In addition, joining a community and attending events costs nothing.

Every August 11, the national day brings the Chad diaspora together. Wherever the diaspora lives, communities also organise concerts, meals and gatherings.
