How many people from Kosovo live abroad?
The UN does not publish a figure for the Kosovo diaspora. Still, its communities exist, and Compatri follows them city by city.
🇽🇰 Kosovo
People from Kosovo around the world meet here, country by country and city by city. Settled, about to leave or simply connected: here is where to find your people.
The UN does not publish a figure for the Kosovo diaspora. Still, its communities exist, and Compatri follows them city by city.
Other countries in Europe also have their diaspora on Compatri: Ukraine, Russia, United Kingdom, Romania, and Poland. Each page gathers its countries of residence, its cities and its national day.
Compatri brings diasporas together where they live. First, you choose the community of your city. Then you discover what its members organise: meals, parties, afterworks or mutual aid. Finally, you message compatriots who share your interests.
You can also host your own meetup: a meal, an outing or a party. It then appears to members of your city, and you follow sign-ups from your account.
Your exact location never appears: other members only see an approximate area. In addition, joining a community and attending events costs nothing.
Every February 17, the national day brings the Kosovo diaspora together. Wherever the diaspora lives, communities also organise concerts, meals and gatherings.
Choose your country of residence, then your city. Next, join the local community, or start it if it is still missing.
Kosovo Independence Day falls on February 17. Around the world, the diaspora also celebrates it.
No. Joining your community, discovering nearby members and attending events stays free. The Starter and Advanced plans only add features to go further.
