Bosnia and Herzegovina diaspora around the world

According to the United Nations, 1,590,000 people from Bosnia and Herzegovina live abroad.

However, the figure counts migrants, not their children born abroad. The real diaspora is therefore larger.

363,000 people from Bosnia and Herzegovina live in Croatia, 320,000 Germany, and 278,000 Serbia.

Together, these three countries therefore account for about 60% of the diaspora.

Each country has its own page, with the cities, communities and meetups there.

By continent, the diaspora counts 1,530,000 people in Europe, 36,000 the Americas, and 29,300 Oceania.

For each continent, a page also gathers the countries and cities where it lives.

Your exact location never appears: other members only see an approximate area. In addition, joining a community and attending events costs nothing.

Every March 1, the national day brings the Bosnia and Herzegovina diaspora together. Wherever the diaspora lives, communities also organise concerts, meals and gatherings.
